How do I borrow a book? How long can I keep materials?

Answer

To borrow a book from the library, visit your local branch and take items to the main desk. You can check out with you Mayo name badge. You can also browse the online catalog and place a hold to pick up the items at your nearest location.

Print materials loans are usually 6 weeks, with 1 renewal available if no one has placed a hold on the item. Some items may have special loan rules.

Libby electronic materials are checked out for 3 weeks, and return automatically. You can renew these items within the Libby app, provided no one else is waiting for that item.
